I've just added a new full size plush to my etsy shop, a not-so-scary zombie :)

She has weighted feet and a weighted bottom and free moving teddy bear joints in her shoulders and hips so she can sit and stand unassisted. Her head is sewn on but still has enough movement to allow you to pose her easily.

I think the little bear looks so cute next to one of my big plushes! He turned out soo much smaller than i imagined, he's only 5" tall :)

It makes me want to try making an even smaller one, The only thing limiting the small-ness is the joints, so if i can do away with them it will only be my nimbleness and eyesight keeping me from making a smaller bear :P

I've just added this albino bunny to my shop - right in time for Easter!

As with all my toys she is totally unique and one-off and for sale here

Yesterday me and my friend Leanne went for a fun day out in London! We went to the Wellcome Collection which i'd never been to before, it was absolutely fascinating and i recommend it highly! We ate tasty foods and walked around looking at stuff. We took the Jellyfluffs, here are some pictures...

So I made this Flower-bunny brooch hybrid as a bit of an experiment, and before we went out on Friday me Alicia and Vicky took some 'promo' shots for the website. Not quite sure how effective they'd be as advertising but they sure were fun to take!

Yesterday some of my animals came with me for a walk around the woods, and look who we found - a funny pink bear!

Pink Bear was specially made for a show i'm doing over the summer, I have a couple of new totally different plushes too, but i'll save those for another day :)

She was a custom order. I wouldn't have thought to make one in natural colour but i'm really glad i did! I like to make toys that I would want to buy, which quite often sucks because then i never want to sell them! ;)

I love doing custom orders because I tend to get requests for something a little different from what i would normally make.

I am coming to the end of my run of this face sculpt. I only have a few of these resin faces left, and don't intend to re-cast it. Instead I have a new (and very different!) face sculpt that will be available soon! If you would like your own custom creature made with this style of face please get in touch.

"This little raccoon-bear is a one-off art toy. She's around 12" tall (not including her ears) Her face is an original sculpt by Holly Stanway (me!), which I then handcast in resin, painted and sealed with 3 layers of matte lacquer and 5 layers of gloss on her eyes and lips.

She has weighted feet and paws and free moving teddy bear joints in her shoulders, hips and neck so she can sit and stand unassisted. She has a soft stripey raccoon tail.

I absolutely love making these little guys and have a great time picking out soft tactile fabrics to make each one a joy to hold, and i hope that shows! She has been made with every care and is designed to be hugged to your hearts content, but she is really an art piece and i would not recommend her for a young child because of the long pile fur fabric and painted face."
